Guatemala awaits new Mayan era with full hotels

Guatemala is expecting thousands of tourists in December for the celebration of the new Mayan era.

Tourism officials say 95 percent of hotel rooms have already been booked near the Tikal archaeological site.

The celebrations will include concerts by stars such as Elton John and Placido Domingo.
