Guatemala business chiefs back Morales against UN

Guatemalan president Jimmy Morales said he was withdrawing the United Nations-backed anti-corruption commission, Cicig, and giving its team a day to leave the country.
Antonio Guterres, the UN secretary-general, "energetically" condemned the decision, but the nation's leading business organization, Cacif, strongly backed it.
Cacif said in a statement that Cicig "has simply contributed to polarize the country and divided public opinion."
