Guatemala cuts tax income goal for third time

Thursday, November 7, 2013

Guatemala's fiscal authority lowered this year's tax income goal for the third time.

The goal was cut from a previous forecast of $6.2 billion, down to $5.9 billion.

The authority said the main reason for the decision is an insufficient tax collection rate.
