Guatemala expects record in remittances

The government of Guatemala is expecting record remittances this year of $5.2 billion.
The figure means a growth of between 5 and 8 percent.
The estimates are based on the 5 percent growth in remittances for the first six months of the year, which reached $2.47 billion, compared to $2.36 billion from the same period last year.
