Guatemala has region's lowest tax haul

Monday, March 11, 2019

Guatemala's tax haul was 10 percent different from that of the year 2000, according to the UN economic Commission for Latin America.

The commission also made clear that the government's income from taxes was the lowest in Central America, including the Dominican Republic.

Although all the countries in the region faced fiscal shortages, Guatemala's was particularly outstanding, Prensa Libra reports in Spanish.
