Guatemala has the cheapest gasoline

At $0.85 per liter of regular gasoline, Guatemala has Central America’s lowest price, followed by Panama at 90 cents, according to globalpetrolprices.com.
Costa Rica has the highest price in the region, at $ 1.25.
Globally, Venezuela has the cheapest gas, at less than 2 cents per liter, while Hong Kong is the most expensive, at $ 1.96.
The average price of a liter of regular gasoline worldwide is $1.10.
Most of the variation in price among countries is due to taxes, since petroleum products cost substantially the same worldwide (numbers in parentheses indicate price per liter).
