Guatemala joins association accord with Europe

Guatemala's entry to the Europe-Central America association agreement has been confirmed by Stella Zervoudaki, head of the European Union delegation.

The decision marks Guatemala as the last country in the region to adhere to the accord.

The accord between the Central American country and Europe will officially come into effect on December 1, said Zervoudaki.
