Guatemala opens consulate in South Korea

The Guatemalan Embassy in Seoul opened an honorary consulate in Busan. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Guatemalan Ambassador Gustavo Lopez, Honorary Consul Lim Soo-bok, diplomats and Guatemalans in Korea.

Guatemala, said Lim, “produces and exports sugarcane and coffee, which are highly valued around the world. The physical distance between our countries is much larger than our cultural distance.”
