Guatemala's apparel exports grow 7.7 percent

Guatemala's apparel exports reached $1.14 billion from January to September this year, the Apparel and Textile Industry Association said.

The figure is 7.7 percent higher than the $1.06 billion reported for the same period last year.

The apparel sector contributes about 4 percent of Guatemala gross domestic product.
