Guatemala’s Corporación Inmobiliaria La Trinidad opens border mall

La Trinidad, a modern shopping mall, was opened in Malacatán, Guatemala, near the border with Mexico. Investment came to $10 million.

 

Corporación Inmobiliaria La Trinidad, the developers, said the mall is expected to attract thousands of shoppers from Tapachula in Mexico.

 

The mall aims to boost the economically depressed border area between the two countries.
