Guatemala's exports grew by 24 percent last year to more than some $10 billion

Guatemala's exports came to $10 billion last year, a 24 percent increase, said the exporters' association, Agexport.

Traditional exports, such as coffee, sugar, bananas and cardomom, closed the year with a 26.6 percent increase, while non-traditional products were 22.4 percent up.

This year the exporters expect growth of 21.7 percent, though the tqarget will depend on the state of the world economy.
