Guatemala's three major sectors grow

Guatemala's three main economic sectors, tourism, remittances and exports, earned the country's economy $8.46 billion in the first half of the year.

According to official data, the figure shows a 3 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Exports alone accounted for $5.2 billion during the period, 1.6 percent more than the same period last month.
