Guatemala seeks more tourists from Russia

Guatemala will cooperate with other Central American countries to attract more tourists from Russia, ambassador to Moscow Herbert Estuardo Meneses Coronado said.

“Developing mutual ties between Russia and Guatemala will help our nations get to know each other better,” Meneses said.

“At present, we are trying to establish cooperation with the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico to let tourists visit the beaches of these countries first and then enjoy Guatemala’s cultural heritage," he added.
