Guatemala told to accept asylum seekers

Wednesday, October 16, 2019

Guatemalan President-elect Alejandro Giammattei has balked at accepting “safe third country” status with the United States, even though the government of outgoing President Jimmy Morales reached such a deal in July, Reuters reports.
