Guatemala unveils $125-million real estate plan

A real estate project which includes a hotel, convention center, offices, apartments and commercial areas was unveiled in Guatemala.

The project, called AVIA, is expected to cost $125 million, and is being developed by Grupo Cofiño Stahl and FS Richard.

Estuardo Ibargüen, director of AVIA, said 75 percent of the complex has been sold, including 50 percent of the office space.
