Guatemalan coffee exports paralyzed by high prices

Guatemala’s efforts to place its coffee on world markets have become increasingly difficult in recent weeks.

Paradoxically, the problem is that prices have doubled since the middle of last year.

The Guatemalan national coffee association says that sales are almost paralyzed because roasters are unable to meet the high prices.
