Guatemalan coffee rules
Guatemala leads the region in coffee exports, with close to 1.4 million 60-kilograms bags sold in the period June - November 2015, including an increase of 9% between October and November, according to the International Coffee Organization.
Honduras was second in Central America, at nearly 1.3 million bags.
Panama placed last, but is less dependent on coffee than its neighbors.
The big loser is El Salvador, where El Nino caused a 23% drop in exports, to 132,000 bags (data refers fo thousands of bags).
