Guatemalan president opens apparel show

The president of Guatemala opened the 24th edition of the Apparel Sourcing Show in Guatemala City on Tuesday.

The show has been going strong for more than two decades and many of the local apparel and textile industry leaders were on hand for a breakfast inside a large ballroom where President Otto Perez Molina was one of several people who talked about building up the apparel and textile industry, which grew at about 4 percent last year.
