Guatemalan sugar enters new markets in Africa

Guatemalan sugar producers entered two new markets in Africa: Angola and South Africa.

Angola will buy 31,000 metric tons of sugar, while South Africa plans to buy 27,500 tons.

Asia has also increased its demand for sugar, and this year Guatemala expects to send some 335,000 tons to the Asian market.
