Honduran agro-industry eyes new markets

Honduras's agro-industry sector is seeking to enter new markets this year.

Business leaders in the sector are expecting a free trade agreement with Canada to be passed this year, and are also eyeing South Korea and China.

Agro-industry is the country's number one generator of income, with sales last year reaching $1.8 billion.
