Honduran coffee exports drop 41 percent

Honduran coffee exports dropped 41 percent during the first 10 months of the 2012-2013 harvest, compared to the same period of the previous season.

The figures were released by the Honduran Coffee Institute, who added that the volume of exports dropped 15 percent.

Honduras's coffee exports between October 2012 and July 2013 reached $763 million, compared to the $1.3 billion of the same period of the previous harvest.
