Honduran customs offices earn $120 million in bribes

Customs offices in Honduras receive some $120 million a year in bribes, according to a study by the country's government income office.

Most of these bribes come from vessels from Mexico and Panama, the study suggested.

Other sources of bribery include used cars from the United States, home electronics and garments, as well as falsifying official documents.
