The Honduran government has approved a work schedule that allows 200,000 public employees time off the job to watch their country play in the World Cup.
Honduras kick off their World Cup campaign against Chile. The government has urged private enterprises to do the same.
Africo Madrid, the minister in charge of the changes, said employees would not have to begin work until 10.00 am on June 16 when Honduras play Chile in their opening game.
