Honduran melons reach 36 countries

 

Honduras's melon exports now reach 36 countries around the world due to its sanitary standards, said Edgar Santamaría, deputy technical director of the Honduran Ministry of Agriculture.

"Melon is one of the country's most important agricultural products, both economically and socially," he added.

Honduras exports melon to countries such as Germany, Japan, Ecuador, El Salvador, Colombia, Spain, France, Mexico, Taiwan and the UK.
