Honduran private sector owes $1.4 billion

The Honduran private sector's external debt reached $1.4 billion from January to September this year, according to the country's central bank.

The figure is lower than the $1.5 billion from the same period last year.

The private sector's long-term external debt accounts for 67.5 percent of the total, or $949 million.
