Honduran shrimp production at risk

December 31 this year is the deadline for 134 Honduran shrimp farms to sort out their regularization procedures.

If they fail to meet the deadline, they will have to shut down their operations, an industry leader said.

The 134 farms produce some 10 million pounds of shrimp per year.
