Honduras agrees to foreign help to fight corruption

Honduras on Tuesday became the second Central American country to accept international help to fix a broken judicial system and fight government corruption, two problems that have ravaged Honduras and the region for decades.

At an event in Washington, Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez signed an agreement with the head of the Organization of American States establishing the Mission to Support the Fight against Corruption and Impunity in Honduras.
