Honduras and IMF begin talks next month

The Honduran government and the International Monetary Fund, IMF, will begin talks in September this year to establish an economic program.

The aim of the Honduran government is to sign a letter of intent by October.

If successful, the government will have access to some $230 million in financing for its budget.
