Honduras and Malaysia seek to increase trade

Representatives from the Malaysia Trade Development Corporation, Matrade, travelled to Honduras seeking to boost biletaral trade.

Last year, trade between both countries totalled $27 million, of which $26 million were Malaysian exports to Honduras.

Matrade's commercial advisor in Honduras, Byeika Jiménez, said the plan is to establish contacts with businesses in northern Honduras in order to boost Honduran exports to the Asian country.
