Honduras attracted $9 billion in investment last year

Honduras has gradually increased its attraction to investment over the last few years.

In 2012, the country received some $9 billion in direct foreign investment, according to the Central Bank of Honduras.

Most of the investment came from North America and Europe, in particular the United States, Ireland, the UK, Guatemala and Mexico.
