Honduras authorizes acquisition of Lafarge

Honduras's antitrust watchdog authorized the purchase of Honduran cement maker Lafarge by Colombia's Argos.

The Colombian company will pay $305 million for Lafarge.

After a technical study, the watchdog said the operation would not harm the market conditions in Honduras.
