Honduras bets on farm exports under Europe accord

Honduras is betting on selling more farm products to Europe under the Central American trade accord with the European Union.

Europe will allow 162,000 metric tons of a sugar a year, of which Honduras has an historic entitlement of more than 19,000 tons.

Other products that Honduras is betting on include shrimp, bananas, rum, candies and textiles.
