Honduras coffee harvest produces record results

The 2011-2012 coffee harvest in Honduras produced historic results, the country's coffee authority, Ihcafé, reported.

Sales from the harvest generated $1.44 billion, up from $1.23 billion of last year's harvest.

In terms of export volume, the harvest reached 7.1 million quintals, of 46 kilograms each, mor than the previous harvest which generated 5 million.
