Honduras economic activity up 2.5 percent

Honduras's services and goods grew 2.5 percent in August, compared with the same month last year, according to the central bank's monthly economic activity index.

Financial services, telecoms, agriculture, trade and manufacturing saw a year-on-year growth of 2.8 percent.

The manufacturing sector was boosted by food, tobacco, garments and steel.
