Honduras economy grows 2.8 percent

Honduras's economy grew 2.8 percent in the first half of the year, compared with the same period last year, the central bank said.

The best performing sectors were financial services, insurance, pension funds, telecommunications, agriculture and farming, among others.

But sectors such as construction registered a 10 percent drop in the period.
