Honduras external debt reaches $6.7 billion

Honduras's total external debt reached $6.7 billion in the first quarter this year, the central bank reported.

The figure shows a 24 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

The country's public debt reached $5.2 billion, 23 percent more than in the first quarter of 2013.
