Honduras free zone to develop bio energy

The Honduran free-zone assembly plants are developing a new bio-energy project that aims to save 30 percent of its electricity bills and boost employment in the countryside.

The textile and vehicle harnesses industries plan to replace supplies from the state energy company.

Using giant king grass plants as fuel, the companies aim to supply 70 megawatts for three industrial parks and a textile complex.
