Honduras is the country with the highest murder rate in the world, according to a study by the United Nations.

The violence affects the country's economy and business climate, as it scares away potential investors, the study said.

One of the main reasons for the violence is the war on drugs in Mexico, which has increased the flow of drugs through the country and
helped criminal groups to establish their operations there.
