The government of Honduras is to invest $472 million in improving the transmission and distribution of electricity.
This has been a “historic decision” to solve the problem of electricity wastage, said the manager of the state power company, the ENEE.
The company faces an economic crisis, partly as a result of management and technical errors, that has gone on for several years.
