Honduras invites tenders for water and sanitation plans

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Tenders for the design and construction of nine potable water and sanitation projects in Honduras' Atlántida department must be submitted by May 8, according to bidding documents published on HonduCompras.

The project is designed to provide 13,700 new potable water connections and 15,900 homes with individual sanitation solutions in 13 communities in the region, which is located on the country's north Caribbean shore.

The national water authority, Sanaa, will administer the project, while Spain's international cooperation agency for development (Aecid) will provide the financing via a donation.
