Honduras launches 'model cities' program

The government of Honduras signed an accord with foreign investors for the construction of a "private city" in its territory, with its own laws and tax system.

The agreement marks the beginning of a "model cities" agreement intended to promote the economy.

According to the government, the model cities will become poles for development in Honduras.
