Honduras maquila sector lures U.S. investment

Honduras's plans to lure investment to its apparel sector are starting to show positive results, according to the country's maquila association.

U.S. company Delta Apparel said it will move its operations from North Carolina to the Central American country's Green Valley Industrial Park.

The move will allow the firm to cut production times to 10 days, according to company directors.
