Honduras mining plans stalled by lack of regulations

A lack of mining regulations in Honduras is stalling 151 national and international projects, worth millions of dollars.

The projects are waiting for approval at the Mining Promotion agency, which stated that 35 of the projects are ready to start.

Among the countries that have shown interest in mining in Honduras are China, India, Korea, Brazil and Colombia.
