Honduras motivates Spain to invest

Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández said he believes Spanish investors are motivated about taking part in his country0s dry canal project.

The dry canal is a highway that aims to connect the country's Pacific and Atlantic coasts, allowing for quicker transport of goods from each coasts' ports.

"We have also invited the Spanish government to take part in the construction of a mega-airport in Palmerola, in Central Honduras, for our goal of becoming a logistics hub," Hernández said.
