Honduras plans $363 million investment in wind farms

Energy companies from Honduras will invest some $363 million in wind farm projects.

Energía Eólica de Honduras, known as Ehsa, will invest $63 million to add 24 megawatts to its Cerro de Hula project, which currently generates 102 megawatts.

Vientos de Electrotecnia, also from Honduras, will invest $130 million in the construction of its San Marcos wind farm, while Vientos de San Marcos will invest $170 million in a 45-megawatt wind farm called Chinchayote.
