Honduras promotes $5.5 billion fund for Northern Triangle

The government of Honduras is proposing a novel regional initiative to inject private capital into the proverty-stricken and violence-ridden Northern Triangle of Central America.
The Triangle includes Guatemala and El Salvador as well as Honduras, whose president Juan Orlando Hernández says that his proposal has received a warm welcome from Joe Biden, the vice-president of the United States.
