Honduras reaches 82 percent cable coverage

Free-to-air TV service in Honduras are available to 63 percent of the population or 5.6 million viewers, while cable TV networks cover 82 percent or 7.34 million people, according to the National Telecommunications Commission.

Out of a total of 3.25 million pay-TV subscribers in Central America, Business Bureau indicates that Honduras has the highest pay-TV penetration rate at 56 percent.
