Honduras receives $2.03 billion in remittances

Remittances to Honduras totaled $2.03 billion during the first eight months of the year.

During the same period of last year, the figure was $1.8 billion, according to the country's central bank.

Remittances are Honduras's main source of international income, on top of coffee, garments and prawn exports.
