Honduras releases bandwidth for mobile use

The regulator of Honduras has confirmed that it intends to release the 3.5GHz band for mobile use.

Conatel said it intends to “deliver the benefits of regional harmonization with other Latin American countries” by allowing operators to use the frequency. The decision was prompted by the regulator’s desire to facilitate international roaming, Developing Telecoms reports.
