Honduras rules out closure of Latin embassies in favor of India and China
Honduras President's Office denied reports about the shutdown of its embassies in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela, as announced by Honduras Foreign Minister Mario Canahuati.
"At no time, has the government headed by President Porfirio Lobo Sosa decided to close embassies in South American countries where Honduras used to have diplomatic missions," read a statement.
Honduras' Foreign Minister had stressed his country's interest in resource allocation to open trade offices in other countries.
